What is lifecoaching?
Most of us are on a 9-5 treadmill, so busy working to pay the mortgage that we don't have time to reflect on what we really want from life. We aren't able to get clarity or build a vision of what we really want. That's what coaching is all about.

It is about discovering what we really want from life and taking
action towards achieving this. It can enable you to uncover,
change or transform what is holding you back. It is about
making your dreams a reality.

A lifecoach does not give advice; rather, they encourage clients to find their own ways using their own internal strengths and resources. This is done sometimes by shining a torch on the trail and other times by a push as a means of getting clients to move forward. It is that self-realisation that makes the learning so much more profound and leads to lasting change.

Coaching sessions are always done on a one to one basis either face to face or over the telephone. The coaching relationship is a collaborative one whereby the client is responsible for designing
the relationship. It is for the client to say how he/she wants not only the relationship as a whole to run, but also each individual session; it's the client who writes the agenda.

Finally, coaching offers many people a doorway to something far deeper. Once you know more about how you, as a human being work, you can use coaching to answer some truly meaningful questions, to help you more fully understand your mission in life
and some of the answers to your true happiness and fulfillment.

This is an excellent way of gaining clarity by unraveling your options and coming up with solutions and decisions.

• Option 2: 6 to 12 sessions of 1 hour a week / fortnight / month to focus on a number of areas of your life.
